extendedplay, or EP for short, is an independent design practice in New York City.
EP works in tandem with individuals, businesses, and institutions to solve problems — big and small. With a focus on curiosity and consideration, we add grace and clarity to all elements of our projects. Through close collaboration and frequent communication (sorry, no big reveals), we deliver work that both motivates and excites. With many clients, these collaborations remain ongoing.
EP is led by designer and developer Joseph Bergdoll. Aside from his duties at EP, Joseph also teaches web design at Cooper Union.

EP is in need of a summer design intern (paid) in mid-to-late May to August, ideally a student between 3rd and 4th year. Since we are a small shop, intern will be working on relevant client-facing work and will be included in all operations of the studio. Please apply via email at firstname.lastname@example.org, or visit extendedplay.nyc/contact for more info.
Every piece of every project involves design. Thus, EP projects are always combination of the following services:
- Creative Direction
- Information Architecture
- Front-End Development
- Back-End Development
- Content Management Systems
- API Integrations
